The farmer had been getting around Rs. 24 per litre which jumped to Rs. 32 per litre. And also the cost of farming has come down which has multi-folded the margin for the farmer.

28-year-old Marisamy was familiar amongst the local bankers for his persuasiveness to get a home loan of INR 10 lacs. A monthly salary of Rs. 8000 from a power-loom unit (cash payment) wasn't sufficient for him to meet the eligibility.

Laymen Agro inducted him as a 'Villagepreneur' on 22nd March 2017. At present, his average monthly income is Rs. 37500/- which is credited through the bank. His dream home's housewarming was on 12th September 2018 (Thanks to the 15 lacs bank loan). He turned eligible to get married finally, tied the knot on 17th February 2019.
